Signing of Work Order Agreement for Construction of New Building


BANDUNG - The long awaited dream of having a new hospital building is soon becoming a reality as hospital leaders sign a work order for the construction of the new healthcare facility. This historic event took place Sunday (09/08) at Bandung Adventist Hospital.

President of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Indonesia Pastor Johny Lubis serving as representative of the Bandung Adventist Hospital Foundation signs a Work Order Agreement with PT. Waskita Karya represented by Ir. Asmo B.

Pastor Lubis says, "this is by far the largest construction project ever to be accomplished by any Adventist institution in Indonesia." He also instructed the developers to "keep construction work on-schedule and stick to the specifications."

'The construction of the new seven-storey healthcare facility cost Rp 65 billion and is targeted to be completed in 14 months," said Hospital Public Relations Manager, Bruce Sumendap.

The signing was witnessed by representatives of the construction consulting form PT. Indah Karya. Others present were Members of the Board of Directors of the hospital foundation as well as hospital Executive Committee members.
